AUSTRALIA – Extreme flooding event Northern Queensland
Follow tropical cyclone Jasper, the far north QLD region is severely flooded. Cairns and Townsville have flooding in excess of 1 meter, and Cairns airport is closed. Bruce Highway which provides road access to the region is also flooded and cut off.
Due to the severity of the event, and the forced closure of freight, mail and package delivery options there will be significant delays until the end of this week!!!
